18 Apple and Pumpkin Recipes To Try This Fall

When the thermometer dips down into the 50s, that's my signal. From then on, it's pumpkin spice and apples in just about everything I make. So I pulled together a few of my favorites to get your fall weekend started.

From Pumpkin Dump Cake to Skillet Fried Apples: 18 Fall Treats

There's a little bit of everything in this one. Spiced pumpkin dump cake, no-bake pumpkin pie, apple cobbler made with cake mix, and Southern skillet-fried apples. There are a couple of fall drinks in there too, like an iced pumpkin latte and a sparkling apple cider mocktail.

Several of them start with a box of cake mix, so there's no need to fuss. Pick one for Saturday morning and one for when friends stop by.

Pumpkin Candles You Can Turn On From Across the Room

These terracotta pumpkin candles are flameless, but the LED flame flickers like the real thing. They come with a remote, so you can switch them on without getting up. No matches, no melted wax, and nothing to worry about with little ones running around.

So tell me, are you team pumpkin or team apple when the weather turns cool? Hit reply and let me know.

Brown the sausage, stir in a little flour, then simmer whole milk with onion powder, black pepper, and a touch of red pepper flakes until it's...

When my kids were young, I was a stay-at-home mom watching every dollar in the grocery budget. One trick saved me over and over: start with a box of pasta. It's cheap, it stretches a meal, and my kids never once complained about pasta night.
